Kern Radiology Medical Group, Inc., established in 1968 is a full-service radiology center located in the Southern San Joaquin Valley. The group is owned and operated by a group of local radiology physicians with lives and families in our local community. Imaging services provided consist of MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Ultrasound, and Diagnostic x-ray. Also available are special procedures such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET), cardiac SPECT exams, biopsies, fluoroscopy, and angiography. The main facility of approximately 20,000-sq ft is filled with the frequently updated equipment from an array of internationally renowned vendors. The medical practice is also certified by the American College of Radiology.

Kern Radiology has a newly constructed office on San Dimas directly North of Memorial Hospital at Memorial Medical Plaza and is part of the Memorial Hospital health services campus. This office provides diagnostic x-ray, bone densitometry (Dexascan), ultrasound, digital mammography, breast MR, MRI, CT, and a state of the art interventional radiology suite specializing in the latest interventional procedures to include coronary CTA. Additionally, there are five satellite offices, through a contracted provider, which offer various services and equipment. All of the locations are linked through our computer based Radiology Information System (RIS) for scheduling, exam image transmission, reporting, and billing functions.

The professional medial staff at Kern Radiology consists of 10 Board Certified Radiologists, with subspecialties such as Neuroradiography and body imaging. All technologists are intensively trained and well supervised, including certification in their respective modality. A nursing station staffed by RN’s and Paramedics monitors patients before and after exams as needed. The management team is led by an Administrator and cover activities such as operations, compliance, human resources, finance, billing and coding, information systems, and marketing.

Kern Radiology has been designated by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.
